baby bump: week 36

how far along?
36 weeks. yay for being in the 9th month!

baby size:
i'm going to say between 7-7 1/2 pounds.
she's about the size of a small watermelon!

total weight gain:
33 pounds...
& i can feel every stinkin' ounce.
trying to get up has been a challenge.

maternity clothes?
NOTHING FITS.
i wear jammies at home
& when i HAVE to go somewhere,
it's all about the maxi dress.

stretch marks?
not yet.

sleep:
since being on bed rest, my legs have
started cramping up pretty bad...
plus, charlotte really likes sitting on my sciatic nerve.
sleep has been pretty much non-existent.
PLUS, i have strep throat.
yay me!

best moment this week:
getting the rest of the stuff we needed from our registry,
& being SO close to finishing her nursery!
thank goodness...

miss anything?
um, a not sore throat.
this thing is kicking my butt right now.
it's making it awfully hard to get all of the fluids
i need because it's so hard to swallow that i don't
want to drink anything.

movement:
i think she's a zumba instructor.
;)

food cravings:
pizza.
like,
all.the.time.
which is weird...
pizza was totally NOT my thing
before i got pregnant.

anything making you queasy or sick:
nope.

gender:
sweet little girl

labor signs:
still having those pesky braxton hicks contractions,
but that's it!

symptoms:
those leg cramps i mentioned earlier have really been
the worst.
other than that, the normal back pain,
& some swelling in my feet/ankles,
which can be uncomfortable.

belly button in or out?
it's an arnold palmer...
;) hahaha!

wedding rings on or off?
still off.
lame sauce.

mood:
happy, but i can cry at the drop of a hat.
and also miserable from this icky-sicky thing i've
got going on.
but mostly happy.

looking forward to:
being full term next week!
yippee!

  1. I can't believe you're almost there, Kristin! You look wonderful, especially considering how miserable you've been feeling. Hope the next few weeks fly by until you hold your baby girl in your arms. I can't wait to see her!

  3. I had my daughter at 36 weeks. She was 5 lbs. A friend of my husband said, "Only 5lbs... must of felt like spitting a watermelon seed." Only a man would say that. I assure you it felt like spitting a whole watermelon. You look lovely... all a glow. Not much time left at all. Enjoy the quiet.
